Objectives
Access to further study.
The qualification gives access to master's degree courses and first level university master's courses.
Obiettivi formativi specifici.
Graduates will:
• know the basics of the biology of movement and the adaptation of the physical exercise based on the type, intensity and duration of the exercise, the age and level of the participant and the environmental conditions where the activity is taking place; • know motor techniques for their preventive, compensatory and adaptive qualities, as well as sport techniques, in order to be able to teach them correctly, paying particular attention to a learner’s gender, age and physical condition;
• know the techniques and methods to measure and evaluate physical exercise and evaluate their effects;
• know the biomechanics of movement in order to carry out simple programmes for the correction of gait and posture;
• be able to use measurement techniques and tools to measure and evaluate physical exercise and know their effects and foresee their impact on the client’s physical and psychological well being;
• possess the cultural and methodological knowledge and instruments needed to conduct sports and motor activities on individual and group levels;
• possess basic psychological and sociological knowledge to be able to interact effectively with clients according to their age, gender and social condition on individual and group levels;
• know the pedagogical, psychological and educational basics in order to have adequate ethical and reasoning, in addition to technical knowledge;
• possess basic legal and economic knowledge related to the management of the various forms of sports and motor activities within the areas of specific professional competences;
• be able to use at least one other EU language, other than Italian, for international communication.
